Install RLCraft in GDLauncher
RLCraft runs on Forge. Pick whichever your existing instance uses, or create a new one. GDLauncher installs the correct loader automatically.
Install on Forge
- Open GDLauncher and create a new instance (the + button on the Library page).
- Pick the Forge loader and a Minecraft version that RLCraft supports (1.12.2, 1.11.2 are common choices).
- Open the new instance, go to the Addons tab, and click Add Addons.
- Paste the Quick Install ID
#rlcraft, find RLCraft in the results, and hit Download. GDLauncher pulls dependencies automatically. - Hit Play. That's it.
Before you install
Make sure your Minecraft version matches what RLCraft supports. As of the latest release, 1.12.2, 1.11.2 are supported. RLCraft only runs on Forge; mods built for other loaders won't work. GDLauncher checks compatibility for you and won't install something incompatible with the instance you've chosen.
