Install Chronos Client in GDLauncher
Chronos Client runs on Quilt. Pick whichever your existing instance uses, or create a new one. GDLauncher installs the correct loader automatically.
Install on Quilt
- Open GDLauncher and create a new instance (the + button on the Library page).
- Pick the Quilt loader and a Minecraft version that Chronos Client supports (1.21, 1.20.4, 1.19.4 are common choices).
- Open the new instance, go to the Addons tab, and click Add Addons.
- Paste the Quick Install ID
#chronos, find Chronos Client in the results, and hit Download. GDLauncher pulls dependencies automatically. - Hit Play. That's it.
Before you install
Make sure your Minecraft version matches what Chronos Client supports. As of the latest release, 1.21, 1.20.4, 1.19.4 are supported. Chronos Client only runs on Quilt; mods built for other loaders won't work. GDLauncher checks compatibility for you and won't install something incompatible with the instance you've chosen.
