Before you install
Make sure your Minecraft version matches what The Locust supports. As of the latest release, 1.20.1 are supported. The Locust only runs on Forge; mods built for other loaders won't work. GDLauncher checks compatibility for you and won't install something incompatible with the instance you've chosen.
