Install Project Zomboid in GDLauncher
Project Zomboid runs on Forge. Pick whichever your existing instance uses, or create a new one. GDLauncher installs the correct loader automatically.
Install on Forge
- Open GDLauncher and create a new instance (the + button on the Library page).
- Pick the Forge loader and a Minecraft version that Project Zomboid supports (1.19.2 are common choices).
- Open the new instance, go to the Addons tab, and click Add Addons.
- Paste the Quick Install ID
#project-zomboid, find Project Zomboid in the results, and hit Download. GDLauncher pulls dependencies automatically. - Hit Play. That's it.
