Install Target's FPS Boost in GDLauncher

Target's FPS Boost runs on Fabric. Pick whichever your existing instance uses, or create a new one. GDLauncher installs the correct loader automatically.

Install on Fabric

  1. Open GDLauncher and create a new instance (the + button on the Library page).
  2. Pick the Fabric loader and a Minecraft version that Target's FPS Boost supports (26.1.2, 1.21.11, 1.20.4 are common choices).
  3. Open the new instance, go to the Addons tab, and click Add Addons.
  4. Paste the Quick Install ID #targets-fps-boost, find Target's FPS Boost in the results, and hit Download. GDLauncher pulls dependencies automatically.
  5. Hit Play. That's it.

Before you install

Make sure your Minecraft version matches what Target's FPS Boost supports. As of the latest release, 26.1.2, 1.21.11, 1.20.4 are supported. Target's FPS Boost only runs on Fabric; mods built for other loaders won't work. GDLauncher checks compatibility for you and won't install something incompatible with the instance you've chosen.
