Install Technically Enhanced in GDLauncher

Technically Enhanced runs on Fabric. Pick whichever your existing instance uses, or create a new one. GDLauncher installs the correct loader automatically.

Install on Fabric

  1. Open GDLauncher and create a new instance (the + button on the Library page).
  2. Pick the Fabric loader and a Minecraft version that Technically Enhanced supports (26.1.2, 1.21.11 are common choices).
  3. Open the new instance, go to the Addons tab, and click Add Addons.
  4. Paste the Quick Install ID #technically-enhanced, find Technically Enhanced in the results, and hit Download. GDLauncher pulls dependencies automatically.
  5. Hit Play. That's it.

Before you install

Make sure your Minecraft version matches what Technically Enhanced supports. As of the latest release, 26.1.2, 1.21.11 are supported. Technically Enhanced only runs on Fabric; mods built for other loaders won't work. GDLauncher checks compatibility for you and won't install something incompatible with the instance you've chosen.
