- Pick the Fabric loader and a Minecraft version that Vanilla Optima supports (1.21.4, 1.20.6 are common choices).
- Open the new instance, go to the Addons tab, and click Add Addons.
- Paste the Quick Install ID
#vanilla-optima, find Vanilla Optima in the results, and hit Download. GDLauncher pulls dependencies automatically. - Hit Play. That's it.
Before you install
Make sure your Minecraft version matches what Vanilla Optima supports. As of the latest release, 1.21.4, 1.20.6 are supported. Vanilla Optima only runs on Fabric; mods built for other loaders won't work. GDLauncher checks compatibility for you and won't install something incompatible with the instance you've chosen.
