Install Atlas API in GDLauncher
Atlas API runs on NeoForge. Pick whichever your existing instance uses, or create a new one. GDLauncher installs the correct loader automatically.
Install on NeoForge
- Open GDLauncher and create a new instance (the + button on the Library page).
- Pick the NeoForge loader and a Minecraft version that Atlas API supports (1.21.1 are common choices).
- Open the new instance, go to the Addons tab, and click Add Addons.
- Paste the Quick Install ID
#atlas-api, find Atlas API in the results, and hit Download. GDLauncher pulls dependencies automatically. - Hit Play. That's it.
Before you install
Make sure your Minecraft version matches what Atlas API supports. As of the latest release, 1.21.1 are supported. Atlas API only runs on NeoForge; mods built for other loaders won't work. GDLauncher checks compatibility for you and won't install something incompatible with the instance you've chosen.
