Install Default Options in GDLauncher

Default Options runs on Forge, NeoForge, Fabric. Pick whichever your existing instance uses, or create a new one. GDLauncher installs the correct loader automatically.

Install on Forge

  1. Open GDLauncher and create a new instance (the + button on the Library page).
  2. Pick the Forge loader and a Minecraft version that Default Options supports (26.1.2, 1.21.11, 1.20.6 are common choices).
  3. Open the new instance, go to the Addons tab, and click Add Addons.
  4. Paste the Quick Install ID #default-options, find Default Options in the results, and hit Download. GDLauncher pulls dependencies automatically.
  5. Hit Play. That's it.

Install on NeoForge

  1. Open GDLauncher and create a new instance (the + button on the Library page).
