How to install "Sparse Structures"

One mixin mod that makes all structures (including non-vanilla ones) more spread out (essentially making them rarer). Useful for big modpacks with lots of structure mods to make exploration more challenging/less repetitive.

Install Sparse Structures in GDLauncher

Sparse Structures runs on Fabric, NeoForge, Forge, Quilt. Pick whichever your existing instance uses, or create a new one. GDLauncher installs the correct loader automatically.

Install on Fabric

  1. Open GDLauncher and create a new instance (the + button on the Library page).
  2. Pick the Fabric loader and a Minecraft version that Sparse Structures supports (26.1.2, 1.21.11, 1.20.6 are common choices).
  3. Open the new instance, go to the Addons tab, and click Add Addons.
  4. Paste the Quick Install ID #sparse-structures, find Sparse Structures in the results, and hit Download. GDLauncher pulls dependencies automatically.
  5. Hit Play. That's it.

Install on NeoForge
