Install Status Effect Timer in GDLauncher

Status Effect Timer runs on Fabric. Pick whichever your existing instance uses, or create a new one. GDLauncher installs the correct loader automatically.

Install on Fabric

  1. Open GDLauncher and create a new instance (the + button on the Library page).
  2. Pick the Fabric loader and a Minecraft version that Status Effect Timer supports (26.1.2, 1.21.11, 1.20.6 are common choices).
  3. Open the new instance, go to the Addons tab, and click Add Addons.
  4. Paste the Quick Install ID #statuseffecttimer, find Status Effect Timer in the results, and hit Download. GDLauncher pulls dependencies automatically.
  5. Hit Play. That's it.

Before you install

Make sure your Minecraft version matches what Status Effect Timer supports. As of the latest release, 26.1.2, 1.21.11, 1.20.6 are supported. Status Effect Timer only runs on Fabric; mods built for other loaders won't work. GDLauncher checks compatibility for you and won't install something incompatible with the instance you've chosen.
